No, they don’t read each other’s minds.
No, if one gets hurt, the others don’t feel it.
But triplets Jack, Cameron and Luke Giles are identical in more than just looks. They will be joining nearly 200 graduating from NPTC Group of Colleges this year, with all three earning a Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching.
Always sport mad, the brothers from Skewen, Neath initially came to the College from Dŵr-y-Felin Comprehensive to study BTEC Level 3 in Sport at the Llandarcy Academy of Sport. Feeling at home at the first- class sports facility, the boys decided to stay on to complete the Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and it’s probably not a surprise that all three will now go onto the Top-Up Degree in Sports Coaching at the University of South Wales.
Fanatical about football, they all played for the College as well as local team Goytre and were all part of the same 1st, 2nd, and third team, but it was Jack that managed to take the title of Player of the Year at the Colleges’ annual sports awards.
Beaming with pride, the triplets’ Mum, Nicola Giles, said:
“We are so proud of Jack, Cameron and Luke. The boys have not been apart since they were born, they are very close and do everything together – even work together in Tesco’s and all three are Swansea City Development Coaches.”
It seems that the triplets will never be far apart as all three brothers have aspirations of coaching or teaching in Sport in the future. You never know, we may see them back at Llandarcy coaching the next generation of football stars!
