It is with great sadness that NPTC Group of Colleges has learnt of the death of James Corfield, a very promising and popular agricultural student.
As well as his commitment to his studies and responsibilities on the family farm, James was also known and respected for his dedication to his local cricket team – Montgomery.
James was very well liked by staff and students at Newtown College and our immediate thoughts go out to his family to whom we would like to offer our sincere condolences at this very sad time.
We are extremely proud of the tremendous effort that both staff and fellow students made in the search for James, and as a College we will offer whatever support may be required to ensure that we do all we can at this time of tragedy.
