NPTC Group of Colleges’ horticulture department has topped off an incredible year by winning another Gold Medal for its display ‘Diversity of Landscape’ Diversity of LandscapeDiversity of Landscape’ Diversity of Landscapeat the Royal Welsh Show this week.
Over seventy thousands visitors flocked to the biggest agricultural event of the year and the display attracted hundreds of admirers. This will be the second win of the year for the green fingered department, who took home the gold at the Society’s Spring Fair earlier in the year.
Richard Williams, lecturer for Horticulture, was delighted with the win and said:
“It’s just fantastic for the team to receive another gold medal for our display and finish the year on such a great note. Many of the plants and flowers featured were grown in the College Nursery by our horticulture students.’’
