Auditions for a top dance university across the county are in full swing and students from Neath College are already tasting success with offers coming in from the renowned CPA Studios.
BTEC Level 3 dance students Lewis Ansell, Paige Mainwaring, Sophie Gowen, Hannah Meg Williamson, and Morgan McLennan have all been offered places on the professional musical theatre course, which could see them follow in the footsteps of CPA Studios’ former student and now patron Rochelle Humes from chart topping The Saturdays.
Craig Coombs, Neath College’s dance lecturer, was delighted, and commented:
“Our dance students have showcased the Neath College dance department brilliantly, especially with five students being offered places. In addition to CPA studios, the students are on track to audition for more top dance universities and professional dance training schools this year including: London Contemporary Dance School, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban, London Studio Centre and Chichester University.”
