In celebration of World Mental Health Day, staff at NPTC Group of Colleges have been treated to a series of wellbeing sessions delivered at Neath College.
The Neath-based Magnolia Centre for Health and Wellbeing ran a series of workshops throughout the day which included Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Mindfulness and Meditation, Art Therapy and Focused Minds Coaching.
Hannah Booth, from Magnolia, said:
“We’ve had a great day at NPT Group of Colleges today delivering a wellbeing day for staff as part of the College’s recognition of World Mental Health Day.”
Melanie Dunbar, NPTC Group of Colleges’ Human Resources Manager, said:
“These sessions are designed to offer staff a taste of the many services and therapies Magnolia offer in their Centre for Health & Wellbeing, while promoting stress-reduction and mindfulness techniques to our staff.
“As a College, we are fully committed to the Time to Change Wales pledge and are dedicated to raising awareness of mental health problems with staff and students. The work we are doing with the Magnolia Centre is designed to highlight how mindfulness and stress-relief can aid positive mental health.”
