New Community Class at the St. John’s Centre

Brecon Beacons College and the St. John’s Centre have been working together to welcome many new learners into ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses, held at the centre this term.

This particular group of inspirational students are enjoying taking up the challenge of their latest learning journey.  There is an exciting buzz within this class, as students push themselves on to Learn new English skills in listening, reading and writing at various levels.

We wish them well in this class and have every confidence they will achieve accreditation as the year progresses and their skills develop further.

With the class now underway with students demonstrating commitment to learning new skills, it acts as a welcome reminder that opportunities are available to other Adult Learners.  Brecon Beacons College, along with other Adult Learning providers and many local organisations, clubs and sports groups, offer sign up opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it’s Adult GCSE evening classes, a flexi study ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) course, literacy and numeracy return to learn class, computers don’t bite course, ESOL or a range of learn direct courses there might be a course of interest. Many of these courses also offer opportunities to start throughout the year.
