NPTC Group of Colleges welcomed David Andrews, Manager Director for the Vigilance Group, to present Engineering students with professional clothing and equipment recently.
MACH Machine Tools, part of the Vigilance Group, is the main college sponsors for the Mechanical Engineering students, supporting them with overalls & t-shirts along with other engineering equipment.
The state-of-the-art Engineering department based at Neath College already boasts a range of specialist’s equipment, with a whole suite of Mach manual milling & lathes machines.
James Llewellyn, Deputy Head for the School of Engineering said: “The engineering department works heavily with industry to ensure we produce highly skilled students ready for the workplace. Being able to train students with top class equipment such as Mach is fantastic and for the students to receive workwear is a real added bonus.”
