NPTC Group of Colleges’ specialist commercial arm is continuing to deliver a range of training to staff at Ecolab in Port Talbot.
The College has been collaborating with Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, since 2017. Staff members completed Fire Marshall Training, Train the Trainer, with two members of staff about to start ILM Level 3 Leading and Motivating a Team which is fully funded through the Skills Development Fund. Two Engineering apprentices based in Ecolab have come through the Skills For Industry funding program.
Elaine Thomas, who took over Training and Development at Ecolab back in October 2017, is pleased with the progress. She said: “We are committed to upskilling and training staff, and we are delighted with the progress of our team and the work we’ve done in collaboration with NPTC Group of Colleges.”
