Students at Brecon Beacons College (Part of NPTC Group of Colleges) found a very different way to celebrate Comic Relief this year.
The students ran a comedy show and an online quiz to raise money for this worthy cause.
The money raised by Comic Relief has given support to 105.6 million people living in poverty, not only across the UK but also around the globe. 14.3 million people have benefited in the UK, along with 91.3 million people internationally.
Although celebrated differently this year it didn’t stop students from getting into the spirit and was a perfect opportunity to see friends not seen for some time.
Paul Evans a foundations studies lecturer at the College adds: “Not only were the students having fun and a bit of normality, most importantly we were able to raise money for a great cause.”
