Mike Gershon is an internationally renowned educationalist with over 40 books to his name on teaching, learning and education, including numerous bestsellers. He has written over 90 guides covering different aspects of classroom practice and his work has been translated into Dutch, Hebrew, Arabic and Chinese, and is currently working with Welsh Government on teacher training materials for all schools in Wales.
Mike works with schools, colleges, and governments in the UK and overseas providing high-quality training and consultancy on teaching and learning, and following a series of Continual Professional Development training sessions organised for College teaching staff by Phil Jones, Teaching and Learning Manager for NPTC Group of Colleges, Mike went onto hold face to face visits across multiple College sites to offer further support and guidance.
Mike spent the week visiting the Hair and Applied Therapy staff at Afan College, the Engineering staff at Neath College, Catering and hospitality staff at Newtown College and worked with the School link and life skills teams in Brecon, organised by the Colleges’ Matt Jones, Quality Manager and Gareth Davies, Staff Development Manager.
