After studying Beauty Therapy Levels 2 and 3 at the Newtown College, Drea has realised her passion to run her own body care business. Following the challenging years of the Covid pandemic and with determination and incredible support from her tutors, Drea has brought her dream to life.
Bodycare by Drea opened its doors in February 2023, just opposite 23 Social in Newtown with a financial boost from Big Ideas Wales. Lecturers Lisa Brandon and Charlotte Smith, guided Drea through online lessons during COVID, and empowered confidence in Drea who also took advice from Newton Brown, the Enterprise & Employability Officer.
Drea offers soothing massage therapy with heat treatment that targets sore, aching muscles, and relieves tension in the body on a warm treatment couch. Deluxe facials, therapeutic massages, and relaxation treatments with calming heat and soft music complete the experience, making Bodycare by Drea a place for anyone seeking rest and renewal.
Drea said: “I am so grateful to NPTC Group of Colleges in Newtown, Centerprise, and Big Ideas Wales for their support on this journey. After over 20 months of growth and success, I hope people will visit and experience the comfort and care of Bodycare by Drea.”
