Apprenticeship in Brickwork (Level 3)

Duration

Up to 42 months

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
  • Core in Construction and Building Services Engineering; (exemptions apply) Units may include: Introduction to the Built Environment, Introduction to the Trades in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Introduction to the Built Environment Life Cycle, Employability in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Protecting Health, Safety and the Environment When Working in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Introduction to Emerging Technologies in the Construction and Built Environment Sector and Working with Brick, Block and Stone and many more.
  • Level 3 Construction in Bricklaying; Units may include: Understanding Construction Practice In Wales, Working in the Construction Sector in Wales, Move, Handle or Store Resources, Setting Out to Form Masonry Structures, Erect Masonry Structures, Erect Masonry to Form Architectural or Decorative Structures and more.
  • ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • Digital Skills for Construction.
What will the qualification lead to?

After completing learners can apply for the CSCS Advanced Craft card, progress onto HNC in Construction and Built Environment.
