Apprenticeship in Painting & Decorating (Level 3)

Duration

Up to 36 months

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
  • Core in Construction and Building Services Engineering; (exemptions apply) Units may include: Introduction to the Built Environment, Introduction to the Trades in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Introduction to the Built Environment Life Cycle, Employability in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Protecting Health, Safety and the Environment when Working in the Construction and Built Environment Sector, Introduction to Emerging Technologies in the Construction and Built Environment Sector and many more.
  • Construction level 3 Painting and Decorating; Units may include: Conform to General Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare, Prepare Surfaces for Painting and Decorating, Apply Surface Coatings By Brush and Roller, Hang Wall Coverings and many more.
  • ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • Digital Skills for Construction.
What will the qualification lead to?

After completing each level learners can apply for the CSCS Advanced Craft and progress onto relevant higher level Apprenticeship or HNC qualification.
