Apprenticeship in Plastering (Level 3)

Duration

Up to 42 months

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
  • Core in Construction and Building Services Engineering; (exemptions apply) Units may include: Plastering Core Knowledge, Produce Internal Solid Plastering Finishes, Apply Solid Render to Background Surfaces and many more.
  • Construction Level 3 in Solid Plastering; Units may include: Understanding Construction Practice in Wales, Working in the Construction Sector in Wales, Planning and Evaluating Work in the Construction Sector in Wales, Move, Handle or Store Resources, Producing Internal Solid Plastering Finishes, Applying Solid Render to Background Surfaces and Producing Finishes, Apply Solid Plaster to Complex Internal Surfaces, Produce Complex External Render Finishes and more.
  • ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • Digital Skills for Construction.
What will the qualification lead to?

After completing each level learners can apply for the CSCS Advanced Craft and progress onto relevant Higher-Level Apprenticeship or HNC qualification.
