Apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance (Level 3)

24 months

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
  • Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance; Units will include: Complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements, Using and Interpreting Engineering Data and Documentation, Working Efficiently and Effectively in Engineering, Handing Over and Completion of Maintenance Activities.
  • Learners can also select one from the following pathways: Electrical, Electronic, Engineered Systems.
  • EAL Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technology (Tech Cert) [Maintenance]; Units will include: Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering Organisational Efficiency And Improvement, Computer Aided Design (CAD) Techniques, Analogue Electronics, Analogue Electronics, Digital Electronics, Maintenance of Hydraulic Systems and Components, Maintenance of Mechanical Systems and  Maintenance of Pneumatic Systems and Components.
  • ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
  • ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
What will the qualification lead to?

After completing each level learners can progress onto a HNC in Engineering.
