At Pathways Training we deliver Apprenticeships in Civil Engineering that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will develop skills in the workplace and will be required to attend arranged classes in college one day a week.
This qualification will support Civil Engineering, Site Management, Quantity Surveying or similar roles.

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
HNC Level 4 Construction and the Built Environment; Units may include: Individual Project, Construction Technology, Science & Materials, Construction Practice & Management, Legal & Statutory Responsibilities in Construction, Construction Information (Drawing, Detailing, Specification) and many more.
Level 4 NVQ Diploma Construction Site Supervision; Units may include: Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace, Implementing, Maintaining and Reviewing Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare, Wellbeing and Environmental Protection in the Workplace, Assessing and Agreeing Work Methods in the Workplace, Planning Work Activities and Resources to Meet Project Requirements in the Workplace, Co-Ordinating Work Control in the Workplace and many more.
ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).

Up to 24 months
Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment; Units include: Construction Principles, Construction Design, Construction Technology, Health and Safety in Construction and many more.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma Construction Contracting Operation Level 3 BTEC Diploma; Units may include: Operate Health, Safety and Welfare Systems in Construction, Prepare Programmes and Schedules of Work in Construction, Operate Project Information Systems in Construction, Develop and Maintain Working Relationships and Personal Development in Construction and many more.
Learners can choose from the following routes: Estimating, Buying, Planning, Surveying, Site Technical Support, Design Coordinator.

What will the qualification lead to?
After completing each level learners can progress onto a relevant degree in Construction (BSc).
