Are you interested in Clinical Healthcare Support training?
At Pathways Training we deliver Apprenticeships in Clinical Healthcare Support that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will develop skills in the workplace and have the opportunity to attend arranged workshops.
This qualification will support roles delivering essential person-centred care whilst assisting the healthcare professionals who are diagnosing, treating and caring for individuals. This could be in a hospital, community service or GP surgery setting.

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support in Wales;
Units may include: Promote Person Centred Approaches, Principles of Safeguarding and Protection in Health and Social Care, Pressure Area Care, Catheter Care, Physiological Measurements and many more.
ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Digital Literacy (proxy exemptions apply).
Duration
15 months
Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support in Wales; Units may include: Communication Skills for Use Within Healthcare Settings, Promote Equality and Inclusion, Obtain Venous Blood Samples, Undertake Tissue Viability Risk Assessments and many more.
ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Digital Literacy (proxy exemptions apply).
What will the qualification lead to?
After completing each level learners can progress onto a degree or further qualifications specific to their work context. This qualification can also be used to access routes into nursing within the health board.
