Are you interested in Gardening and Horticulture training?
At Pathways Training we deliver Apprenticeships in Horticulture that will give learners a nationally recognised qualification. Learners will develop skills in the workplace and have the opportunity to attend arranged workshops one day a week.
This qualification will support roles such as a Gardener, Landscaper, Greenkeeper, Nursery Worker, Garden Designer or similar job role.

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Horticulture (QCF); Units may include: Monitoring And Maintaining Health and Safety, Levelling and Preparing Sites for Landscaping, Establishing Crops or Plants in Growing Medium, Preparing Ground for Seeding and Planting, Establishing Plants and/or Seeds in Soil, Remove Unwanted Plant Growth to Maintain Development and many more.
ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).

Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Work-based Horticulture (QCF); Units may include: Promote, Monitor, and Maintain Health and Safety and Security, Specify the Maintenance of Landscapes, Plan and Manage the Control of Pests, Diseases and Disorders, Estimate and Programme Resource Requirements for Landscaping, Manage your Own Resources and many more.

What will the qualification lead to?
After completing each level learners can progress onto a HNC/D in Horticulture, management qualification or progress to a managerial level position.
