The AS Level / A Level in Business is a full time, two-year further education course located in the Sixth Form Academy (SFA) aimed at those who wish to gain a qualification that focuses on business studies and the key areas of business and management that any future manager or businessperson will need.
Applying for AS Levels or A Levels? Click ‘Apply Now’ on any ONE of the subjects you are interested in studying. Complete the online application form, where you will be asked to specify your other two choices. Then book an Interview appointment to meet the tutors and discuss your preferred choices.
A minimum of six GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths. Grade B English Language desirable
You can progress directly to work or onto a full time or part time Degree at NPTC Group of Colleges or at another higher education institution.
A Level 3 qualification in Business provides a sound basis to progress on to Degree programmes in Business, Management, Accountancy, Marketing, Personnel and the Legal profession.
The course covers a wide range of subjects including Business Opportunities, Business Functions, Business Analysis and Strategy as well as Business in a changing world.
Assessment takes the form of two exams at the end of the first year, along with two exams at the end of the second year.
There may be addition course-related costs for items such as, but not limited to, textbooks, stationery, printing, and overnight educational visits.
