HND Computing is a 2 year, level 4/5, higher education course designed for individuals who wish to develop a career in the exciting and ever-changing Computing and Digital Technology sectors.

• 2 A Levels at D Grade or MP/PPP profile from a BTEC Level 3 qualification. Also 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications
• HNC in Computing (equivalent to first year of the HND)
• Mature learners (over 21 years) who do not have formal qualifications, but can demonstrate relevant work experience, and/or achievement of professional qualifications in Computing or IT, are also welcome to apply (and will be individually assessed). Graduates have employment prospects in Computing related disciplines, including Application development, Business Systems Analysis, Database Development and Administration, Information System Consultancy / Management, Games/Multimedia Development, Web Design and Development, Network Management, Cybersecurity Consultancy / Management, IT Operations and Technical Support
Alternatively, a recognised progression route is onto the BSc (Hons) Applied Computing course offered at NPTC Group of Colleges.
