Course Overview
Gateway Health and Social Care is designed as an introduction to the vocational area of Health and Social Care encompassing units of Communicating with People, Designing and Creating a Product and Presenting to Others. The course will also develop employment skills e.g. writing a cv, completion of application forms, interview skills and understanding the rights and responsibilities of the workplace. Basic skills in literacy and numeracy are also developed.
