Course Overview
The NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality one year course offers a specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment within the hospitality sector. It covers subjects such as food prep, restaurant service, running an event, hotel reception and sales/marketing and accounts. This is located in the Catering, Hospitality and Agriculture (CHA) department.
No formal entry requirements (interview).
The progression of this one-year programme will allow progression to Level 2 VRQ Professional Cookery or direct entry into work.
Covers a range of areas that include cooking and preparing menu items and serving in the restaurant.
You will build a portfolio of evidence based on practical and knowlede assessments.
There will be additional course-related costs for uniform etc.
