Level 2 Children’s Care Learning & Development: Practice and Theory (Full-Time)
Course Overview
The Level 2 Children’s Care Learning & Development: Practice and Theory is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who want to work with, or have just started with children and young people, within the childcare industry. This is located in the Health, Social and Childcare (HSC) department.
It is designed to help learners develop the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age.
Minimum of 3 GCSE's grade C or above to include either Maths or English. This childcare course is for anyone who wants to work or has just started to work in the children and young people’s workforce. It is designed to help learners develop the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age.
You may choose to go directly into employment as a nursery assistant, crechè assistant, Cylch Meithrin assistant, out of school childcare worker or playgroup assistant or alternatively you could progress onto another course such as the Level 3 programmes in HSC or Childcare.
