Level 2 Vehicle Body Repair IMI (Body) (Full-Time)
Course Overview
This one year course covers the fundamental skills & knowledge common to the repair of vehicles damaged in an accident. The course aims to explore the vehicle’s construction and accurate repair and damaged areas ready for finishing.
The course is completed by means of two online exams and a series of assignments and practical tasks carried out in our excellent VBR workshop facility.
4 GCSEs of C & above is desirable but practical experience is also considered.
Students can continue their studies and progress onto the part time level 3 Vehicle Body Repair programme by continuing on a day release basis if sponsored in a Modern Apprenticeship with a participating employer.
IMI Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair
Course Duration: This is a 1 year full time course.
This course requires continual assessment of College based assignments which will be collated as a portfolio of evidence to meet the needs of the awarding body.
Online examinations will be scheduled at key stages throughout the course.
