Course Overview
The City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision (Front of House) is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who are interested in the hospitality, events and the service industry. This is located in the Catering, Hospitality and Agriculture (CHA) department.
This one year course gives students the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required to organise and manage events, conferences and weddings and to manage restaurants, coffee shops and hotels.
The course gives an insight into Britains fastest growing industry and prepares the student for the world of work in hotels, restaurants, bars, and clubs.
A Level 2 qualification in Hospitality or relevant experience and interview.
The completion of this qualification will allow natural progression to our HND or Degree course in Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts. Job opprtunites include front of house supervision, cruise ships, events, hotels and restaurants.
You will cover a range of units that include marketing and promotions, supervisory and leadership, customer service, restaurant and bar supervision, health, safety, hygiene and managing resources.
Training in our Blasus Restaurant & Coffee Lounge, you will build a portfolio of evidence gathered through real work situations.
