Course Overview
The Level 3 Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture is a Full-time Further Education course designed for students who are interested in further study in the fields of of horticulture / gardening science.
This course is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career as a gardener / horticulturalist. This is located in the Catering, Hospitality and Agriculture (CHA) department.
One day work experience is a compulsory aspect to this course.
A Level 2 qualification in horticulture or suitable experience or a Welsh Baccalaureate National with GCSEs as requested. We welcome applications from mature students.
The course provides education and training for those wanting to work within the fields of nursery work, garden design, plant propagation, plant production, groundsmanship, landscaping, organics, science, education.
A practical based course to develop your advanced gardening/horticulture skills
There will be additional course-related costs.
