The BSc Applied Computing course is a 1 year, level 6, higher education course designed for individuals who wish to develop a career in the exciting and ever-changing Computing and Digital Technology sectors.
The Course is run in partnership with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Successful completion of the HND Computing qualification offered at NPTC Group of Colleges, or a HND/Foundation Degree (FD) in a computer-related discipline.
Graduates have employment prospects in Computing related disciplines, including Application development, Business Systems Analysis, Database Development and Administration, Information System Consultancy / Management, Games/Multimedia Development, Web Design and Development, Network Management, Cybersecurity Consultancy / Management, IT Operations and Technical Support

- Usability Engineering
- Emerging Trends
- Data Warehousing and Data Mining
- Socket Programming and Concurrency
- Project Management and Research Methods
- Major Project.
This programme will include lectures and workshop sessions. You will have to complete written assignments as you progress through the programme.
