This lesson will enable you to calculate time indifferent formats and convert between different units of time.
In mathematics, time can be defined as an ongoing and continuous sequence of events that occur in succession, from past through present, and to the future. Time is used to quantify, measure or compare the duration of events or the intervals between them, and even, sequence events.
This lesson focuses on the fundamental aspects of time. It explores how to calculate time in different formats. Learners actively engage in this lesson giving them the knowledge and skill to be able to convert between and calculate with different units of time. A range of topics are covered in this lesson including types of clock, conversions, parts of time, ordering and converting units of time, complex time conversions and converting units of time. With knowledge check questions throughout the lesson and a short assessment at the end learners are sure to further their understanding of the subject time.
