Crynodeb o’r cwrs
Gofal, Chwarae, Dysgu a Datblygu Plant Lefel 3; Mae cymhwyster Ymarfer a Theori yn cyfuno gwybodaeth ddamcaniaethol mewn gofal plant, dysgu chwarae a datblygu gyda’r sgiliau ymarferol sydd eu hangen i weithio o fewn y sector ac fe’i cyflwynir yn rhan amser dros ddwy flynedd.
Dylai dysgwyr fod yn o leiaf 19 oed ac er nad oes angen cymwysterau ffurfiol mae'r cwrs wedi'i anelu at bobl sy'n ceisio gwella gyrfa mewn lleoliadau gofal plant perthnasol. Mae'r Diploma Lefel 3 ar gyfer pobl sy'n gweithio ar eu pennau eu hunain neu o dan ychydig o oruchwyliaeth a gallant hefyd oruchwylio gwaith eraill. Mae'r lefel hon yn briodol ar gyfer arweinwyr grwpiau chwarae, Gwarchodwyr Plant, nanis, gweithwyr mewn meithrinfeydd dydd ac ysgolion a gweithwyr allweddol. Gall ymgeiswyr ar lefel 3 fod yn gweithio'n llawn amser (â thâl neu'n wirfoddol) ond mae angen isafswm presenoldeb o 2 ddiwrnod neu'r nifer gyfwerth o oriau mewn lleoliad gwaith addas.
Ar ôl cwblhau'r cwrs hwn, bydd dysgwyr yn gymwys i weithio fel: Cynorthwywyr addysgu, Gwarchodwr Plant, Ymarferydd Meithrin, Gweithiwr Gofal, Gweithiwr Cyn-ysgol, gweithiwr gofal plant y tu allan i'r ysgol, gweithiwr Cylch Meithrin. Gall myfyrwyr hefyd symud ymlaen i astudio Graddau Sylfaen.
2 flynedd yn rhan-amser (cynhelir sesiynau addysgu un noson yr wythnos 5-8)
Asesir cymhwyster Gofal, Chwarae, Dysgu a Datblygu Plant Lefel 3: Ymarfer a Theori trwy 70% o asesiad mewnol a 30% o asesiad allanol. Rhaid i ymgeiswyr gwblhau'n llwyddiannus:
• set o dasgau wedi'u gosod yn allanol, wedi'u marcio'n fewnol
• portffolio o dystiolaeth
• trafodaeth gyda'u hasesydd
• arholiad allanol
• ymchwiliad estynedig wedi'i osod a'i farcio'n allanol
