Apprentices will work towards the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support in Wales; Units may include: Communication Skills for Use Within Healthcare Settings, Promote Equality and Inclusion, Obtain Venous Blood Samples, Undertake Tissue Viability Risk Assessments and many more.
- ESW Application of Number Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
- ESW Communication Skills (proxy exemptions apply).
- ESW Digital Literacy (proxy exemptions apply).
What will the qualification lead to?
After completing each level learners can progress onto a degree or further qualifications specific to their work context. This qualification can also be used to access routes into nursing within the health board.
