The safeguarding team work under the guidelines of the College Safeguarding Policy, in addition to legislation in relation to policies and procedures for safeguarding.
A team of trained staff offer immediate support to students in crisis across the Group. Although disclosures are confidential, where there is a risk of harm safeguards can work alongside staff, College Counsellors, Wellbeing Officers in addition to GP’s, Police and Social Workers to ensure all students remain safe. All of our safeguarding team wear yellow lanyards so they are are easily identifiable if students should need their assistance.
