Sport & Exercise Science
NPTC Group of Colleges has an established reputation for sporting success, with former students gaining international recognition in a variety of sports.
Our facilities at Llandarcy Academy of Sport include an international sports hall, climbing wall, strength & conditioning room, 60m indoor track, indoor multisport facility, and a 4G pitch. Student can also utilize our fully-equipped Electronic Learning Centre (ELC) rooms along with a student common room furnished with a TV and table tennis.
Many of our sports staff have top-level coaching experience, which will develop students’ sporting abilities, as well as being a part of the academy and enrichment programmes.
Careers in Sport can include sports coach, PE teacher, disability sports officer, sports therapist, sports analyst, sports nutritionist, gym instructor or sports community officer.

Public Services
Public services are a vital part of our society and our BA (Hons) Public Services Degree in partnership with UWTSD will undoubtedly lay the basis for a career in the Police Ambulance, Fire Services, Probation Services, Prison Service, Border Agency, The Armed Forces or Coastguard. For example, many of our former students have progressed into various careers in uniformed public sectors, especially The Police, The Fire Service, Prison Service and the Armed Forces.
